FLOA (part of BNP Paribas Group) is one of France’s top payment instalment providers. Its mission is to make life easier for consumers through its “Buy Now Pay Later” service, mini-loans, bank cards, and insurance. One of its unique products is its lifetime warranty, which covers all household assets and was designed in cooperation with its partner insurance provider, Neat.
The challenge
In an effort to drive new customer acquisition, FLOA wanted to optimize its lifetime warranty page and ensure a seamless customer journey across the product page. To do this, it turned to Contentsquare.
The solution
Using Contentsquare’s Experience Analytics product, FLOA identified 3 key optimization areas for its lifetime warranty page.
1. Creating a seamless customer journey
FLOA wanted to streamline the visual identity between the 2 platforms and minimize the disruption customers experienced when moving from the FLOA site to Neat to complete their sign-up.
Thelook and feel of the entire digital journey was updated to reflect the FLOA brand, from colors, and typography to call-to-actions (CTAs) and illustrations.

2. Redesigning the page
With mobile driving 80% of traffic and conversions, FLOA focused on creating a mobile-first experience on its lifetime warranty product page. Analysis in Contentsquare revealed that FLOA needed to:
Optimize the user experience (UI) of the page
Promote the sign-up journey on the page
Improve the visibility of the FLOA credit calculator on the page
3. Improving the credit calculator
FLOA’s credit calculator is an important customer acquisition tool on its lifetime warranty product page. FLOA focused on making the calculator more actionable and visible, by moving it above the fold on the page.

After these 3 optimizations were made, FLOA used Contentsquare's Experience Analytics capabilities product to analyze how users behaved on its new product page, comparing it with the older version. They used
Heatmaps to analyze the scroll rate and to identify areas of frustration, and attraction of the new credit calculator
Session Replay to identify bugs in certain customer sessions

In just a month after the page was optimized, FLOA saw a
- 4% bounce rate on the page
+20.8% clicks on the new calculator
+ 23% increase in traffic to the conversion flow
+60% increase in conversion
